Located in the Sandton Convention Centre, Algeria House is Johannesburg’s premiere venue for Algerian supporters and an opportunity for world cup fans to experience all that is Algeria.
Running concurrently with the 2010 FIFA World Cup, Algeria House is a showcase of Algerian culture, heritage and sport.

The Algeria national football team, nicknamed Les Fennecs (The Desert Foxes), made two consecutive World Cups in 1982 and 1986 and lifted the African Nations Cup in 1990 as the host country. In November 2009, they beat fierce rivals Egypt in a playoff to secure a place at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
